The Middlesex FA Women’s Representative side are to be congratulated on topping the North Group of the Southern Counties Cup Competition and thereby qualifying to play the winners of the South Group, Sussex, in the final.

A date for that game has yet to be arranged but as we came out first in the draw, it will be played at Rectory Park.    

Before that however, Craig Nicholson’s side will be taking on its Royal Air Force counterparts. This fixture, which will also be at Rectory Park, will be ideal preparation for the final. It has been arranged for Monday next, 11th February. Kick off time will be 7.45pm.

We qualified for the SCCC Final on Wednesday of last week, thanks to Essex Women beating the Army 4-2, at Aveley. We had previously beaten both Hertfordshire (2-0) and Essex (4-3) at Rectory Park, after drawing our opening game against the Army at Aldershot 3-3. The final North Group table was as follows:-
