Referee Development Team
Middlesex FA has a Referee Development Team where a number of the members of the County FA have been given extra responsibilities to assist in the training and developing of its Referees. This team is managed by Dan Lauszkin.
Academy Co-ordinator – Liam Walshe
Liam has taken on the responsibility of maintaining the good work of the MFA Referee Academy that in the past few seasons has seen a number of young referees move to Level 3. He will be looking for support from other referees within the County, both with identifying potential candidates and fulfilling other roles within the Academy set up. For anyone interested or anyone who has any suitable candidates for him to consider, his email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Assessing Officer – Jim Upfold
Jim has held this post for the Association for some time but he is always looking for more Assessors to help in the development of the Promotion Candidates. If you are interested in becoming an Assessor, then please contact him via email@example.com
Assessment Support Officer – Andy Taylor
In order to assist Assessors with producing high-quality written reports, benefitting both promotion candidates and the Referees' Committee, this post has been created to review assessments, offer advice where necessary and generally offer support to Assessors with the production of their reports.
Fitness Support – Isaac Jempeji
Isaac offers fitness support to the various levels required, overseeing fitness tests that are arranged when required.
The Development Group is a support structure for new referees that wish to progress their refereeing career prior to joining the promotion scheme. Development Group members work with a mentor and will attend regular meetings to share best practice and knowledge with their peers.
