Middlesex Schools Under 14 Celebrate their win

MIDDLESEX ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

Middlesex Schools FA Under-14 Team were crowned national champions when they defeated Gloucestershire 3-0 in the ESFA Under14 Girls’ Inter-County Final played at Aldershot Town FC on Saturday, 18th September 2021.

Mia Obeng scored twice for Middlesex and was named as player of the match. Ryessa Sekhon rounded off an excellent team move to add a third Middlesex goal.

It was a brilliant team performance by the Middlesex Team under Head Coach Adem Ali and his assistants Ronan O’Rourke and Joe Khalfi.

The Middlesex Team in the Final was:

Rebekah Dowsett (Bishop Ramsey), Tayla Dennis (Fortismere), Georgia Brandon (Southgate), Kayla Nohasiarisoa (Cardinal Wiseman), Saoirse Hourigan (St Thomas More), Mia Obenge (Chace Community), Trea Hourigan (St Thomas More), Lola Nesbeth (captain) (Gumley House), Ryessa Sekhon (Vyners), Kaye Bamber (Woodside), Lola Shack (JCOSS), Jasmine Yamani (Saracens Academy), Megan Guthrie (Wren Academy), Victoria Racheva (Ashmole Academy).

The following squad members were involved in the run to the Final but did not feature on Saturday: Chloe O’Donoghue, Erin Creedon and Grace Noble.
