Middlesex FA x Orange Ball

Middlesex FA partner with Orange Ball and Hanwell Town FC to improve the mental fitness of players.

In honour of World Mental Health Day, we are sharing a new programme aimed to improve the mental fitness and wellbeing of players in football.

Middlesex FA have partnered with Orange Ball, an organisation that uses positive psychology to develop people's mental fitness to perform optimally on and off the pitch. MeFit Football is a programme aimed to help teams and individuals to overcome challenges they face and develop skills that allow them to flourish.

As the winners of Grassroots Club of the Year for 2020, Hanwell Town FC were selected to experience this programme for their first team and are already seeing the benefits just a few sessions in.

As a commitment to improving the mental wellbeing and performance of the players in Middlesex, Middlesex FA are offering 5 clubs the opportunity to receive a £500 bursary towards delivery of the MeFit Football Programme within your club.
