Middlesex Women will play their last Southern Counties Cup Competition match of the season on Wednesday next 19th February 2020 (ko 7.45 pm) at Rectory Park, against the Royal Air Force.
Although their recent reverse at Aveley means that they cannot qualify for this season’s final and defend the trophy, which they won so impressively last season, Manager Craig Nicholson and his players are keen to finish the campaign on a high note.
Our previous results this season are a thrilling 2-2 draw with the Army at Rectory Park and the 3-2 defeat away to Essex. The latter, which was inflicted by a penalty awarded in additional time at the end of the game, was our first defeat in 3 seasons.
The Royal Air Force only joined the competition this season but we played them in a non-competitive fixture at Rectory Park last season and recorded a 5-0 victory, with two goals each from Anna Maria Dyzadyk and Chloe Sampson and one from Sheryce Slater.
Why not come along and support your County Women’s team. Admission is free, refreshments are available and a programme will be issued. Kick off is at 7.45 pm.
