Charter Standard Club of the Month - October 2018
Middlesex FA is proud to launch our brand-new monthly accolade, recognising the county’s FA Charter Standard clubs.
This is our chance to acknowledge the good works that clubs across Middlesex are doing within their communities – or to simply maintain their Charter Standard status.
Charter Standard Club of the Month – October 2018
Twickenham Cygnets
Huge congratulations to Twickenham Cygnets, the inaugural winners of our Charter Standard Club of the Month Award.
Founded in 2015, the club has grown from having one girls’ team to now having three teams.
In addition to this growth, the club has also supported 11 coaches and parents through the FA Introduction to First Aid in Football qualification to meet Charter Standard criteria.
The club’s mission statement is clear – to help young girls learn, play and enjoy the game in a supportive environment.
Eamonn Newell, Club Secretary at Twickenham Cygnets, said: “We are extremely proud to receive the Charter Standard Club of the Month Award by Middlesex FA.
“It’s great to see all the hard work from everyone involved in the club being recognised. We have doubled the size of the club this season by providing a supportive environment and hope to continue this growth in the future.”
