Equal Game Workshop - Registration & Funding Opportunity

The workshop is aimed at supporting clubs that don’t currently offer Girl’s provision or looking to increase provision within the club.

Middlesex FA will be hosting an Equal Game Workshop at Harris Lowe Academy Willesden on Monday 13th May 2024, aimed at supporting clubs that don’t currently offer girls provision or are looking to increase provision within the club.

The workshop will include discussions around:

Club identity and governance
Marketing
Workforce
Finance
Facilities

There will also be the chance to hear from experts from other grassroots clubs and learn about how they have grown their women’s and girls’ provision.

Arrival: Please arrive for 5:45pm so the event can start on time.

Funding Opportunity

Once you have attended the workshop your club will be eligible to apply for the FA’s Equal Game Funding for 2024.

The Application window is currently open and closes on 31st May 2024.

What is the Equal Game Fund?

The fund is available to support Clubs grow or develop female football as their club in the pursuit of providing an ‘Equal Game’ for girls and women in football.

Who is eligible to apply?

Applicants must be an FA England Football Accredited Club AND attended an Equal Game Workshop in the 22/23 or 23/24 season.

How much can a club apply for?

Clubs can apply for up to £10,000. Clubs will be asked to provide breakdown of where the funding will be spent
