SH Football Club named December Accredited Club of the Month

Congratulations to everyone involved!

SH Football club was founded by Simon Hatton in 2020. Simon was an ex-academy footballer and is now a professional football scout. Simon has lived and breathed football all of his life and saw a gap in the local area for a club to be made to focus highly on player individual development over the team winning mentality.

photoThis was achieved at SH Football by all sessions having close to 100% ball rolling time, focusing on giving the individual player freedom and time with the ball to learn and develop new skills and details within the players game.

The club started with 15 players in their first season and now into their second season have over 100 children attend the sessions and have 6 teams playing in the Junior premier League.

With constant messages of how much the children enjoy the sessions, the future looks bright and with a large group of qualified coaches the club look to be entering their first girls team into a league next season and expanding the teams that play from 6 to 10.

A spokesperson from SH Football Club said: "Being accredited means that we are offering football for local children in the safest and most inclusive and diverse environment which is extremely important for all involved at the club, we welcome both boys and girls from all backgrounds and have both male and female coaches. We hold regular CPD events with our coaches and are always looking at where we can adjust or improve.

The club has a parent’s group where any parents can voice any ideas or improvements that the club could think about implementing in the future.

Simon and wife Leanna both work full time and run the club as a hobby to offer a great environment for local children to play and develop, although the focus is on the child’s development a real family atmosphere has been built and winning this award would showcase what the players and their families have help achieve in such a small space of time.

Our coaching staff are also so dedicated to helping the children, some of our coaches travel all the way across London to be at our weekly sessions and we are extremely grateful, as we know without the coaches the football clubs would not work.

We also offer half term and summer camps for the children which are a big success. We also get invited in to play professional football Academies which is a great chance for the children to test their abilities. Our u12s also won the Middlesex FA Futsal tournament."

The coaches and club members are so supportive and helpful, they really make sure the children enjoy themselves as priority, the club also offer great support and make it so clear that all children and parents can approach them with any questions or advice they are after. To have grown to nearly 100 children in their first year says it all!

The support for the children on and off the pitch by Simon, his wife Leanna and all the coaches is outstanding and I would recommend the club to anyone whether they are starting out or an experienced player. Fun , safe and great coaching.

It’s brought together a mixture of different backgrounds, faiths and it’s wonderful to see such a healthy blend of girls and boys training together.

Its inclusive and has real family values. Everyone in the club supports each other and that comes from the coaches and there ways. The club train at Rayners Lane and it offers children a place to be 1)busy 2)safe and 3)off the streets or parks

An amazing impact. We have many players and coaches from diverse communities and cultures and we make an impact on all the local community around the local areas where players can come train and feel safe and part of a real footballing family.
