Ellis Routledge put the home team ahead with a well struck low shot just before the half time interval.   Daniel Vincent equalised for the visitors after an hour’s play but central striker, Alfie Embleton won the game for Wanderers, with a superb goal in the 72nd minute.    He received the ball with his back to goal and tightly surrounded by defenders but turned and netted.
