Middlesex Monthly Review
We kick off our new website feature with some of the good news and practice we have seen by chance or been tagged in on social media since the turn of the year.
This is by no means everything that has happened during that time which is why we want to do this on a monthly basis to ensure we can recognise, reflect and celebrate the work our clubs do throughout each season. So much can happen over the course of a season as the last 12 months have shown, it can be easy to forget the amazing work that happens, at the start, or midway through a season once the final games have been played.
So to kick us off:
Pro Touch SA were nominated as finalists for the UK Youth Inspiring Hope Awards 2021. The organisation who run football sessions within Middlesex were nominated for the Inspiring Inclusivity Award. Well done to all involved with the club!

Omonia Youth have been really proactive during returns to play and lock downs, this time round they have been providing their players with inspirational speakers, notably when they provided their growing girls section with the opportunity to be inspired, their "An Audience With" programme provided the girls within their club the opportunity to speak with Crystal Palace Women's Forward, Bianca Baptiste. Bianca joined the girls to talk about her football journey, providing the girls with some great advice and inspiration as they awaited footballs return!

Bedfont Sports - The club spent some time during lockdown improving upon there top rate facilities, expanding the seating area available in their changing rooms, including the officials changing, these improvements will allow for greater spacing within the changing room, but will also mean larger squads of players will fit comfortably. They have also fitted lockers to help with the matchday security of players valuables. They have also continued the work since, with a new covered area outside by their smaller training pitch, and also installed some new seating in the main ground thanks to Brentford meaning some of the Griffin Park heritage lives on at the club.
