Safer Internet Day provides an opportunity to highlight the positive uses of technology, whilst exploring the role we all play in helping to create a better, safer, online community.

The day of action calls upon young people, parents, carers, teachers, social workers, law enforcement, companies, policy makers and the wider community to join together and help create a better internet.

Safer Internet Day is the brainchild of the UK Safer Internet Centre – a partnership of three leading charities; Childnet, Internet Watch Foundation and South West Grid for Learning (SWGfL). It is their shared mission to make the internet a better place for children and young people.
