Middlesex FA is delighted to announce the first winner in 2019 of our monthly Charter Standard Club of the Month accolade.

Congratulations to Explorers Football Club, who are the recipients of January’s award.

January’s award-winners are a brilliant example of how clubs and a County FA can work together to improve the local football on offer. Explorers FC is continually growing their playing numbers and have recently constructed a brand-new club house for those players to enjoy.

Founded in 1994, Explorers FC supports teams at Under-7, Under-8, Under-9, Under-10, Under-11, Under-12, Under-13, Under-14 and Under-15 age groups.

The club has also embraced social media, with a large following on both Twitter and Facebook in addition to the development of their already well-established website.

A spokesperson for Explorers Football Club said: “We at Explorers FC are very proud of the work we have done as a community to achieve our brand-new facility, particularly the securing of £130,000 extra funding. We are also looking forward to launching a youth club from February 2019 too.”
