WHITEWEBBS EAGLES FOOTBALL CLUB ARE NAMED CHARTER STANDARD CLUB OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER

Whitewebbs Eagles FC were founded in 1998 and derives its name from the area within the London Borough of Enfield, this is the site that has since been occupied by Tottenham Hotspurs training ground. Since they moved away from the original location they have found a home within the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London as a "Premium Partner Club".

Working at a facility that boasts fantastic 3G surfaces, quality grass pitches and comprehensive gym facilities. The club has a fantastic setup to support player growth and development. This has allowed them to continue to grow and currently have 7 active teams with aspirations of more. The club are a big supporter of the Middlesex's aims to grow female football as they host a regular Wildcats session, helping to get more girls in the local community involved in football.

Whitewebbs Eagles were founded 21 years ago to provide quality, affordable football for the entire youth community. From this initial target the club has continued to evolve and has increased it's reach across their local community. The long term aim is to use this increased involvement to grow the club to provide teams at all age groups, including female, disability and walking football teams within the club.

The club operates initiatives for parents and players alike giving them the opportunity to be more involved. They do this by subsidising course costs to the entry level, FA Level 1 Course or to become registered referees.

Lee Street, Chairman said on being Charter Standard: "Holding Charter Standard confirms that we continue to provide quality football in a safe, fun and accountable environment, open to the entire community."

Lee also spoke about what being recognised meant to the club: "The club operates on a not for profit basis, run by volunteers and proud to be a small part in a big community. Charter Standard Club of the Month endorses the time and passion that those involved in the club provide."
