The 2017/18 Middlesex FA Senior Cup final is set to broadcast live in what's will be a first for the association cup competitions.

We’re delighted to announce that the 2017/18 Middlesex FA Senior Cup final will be broadcast live via Facebook in what is set to be a first for the Association’s County Cup final coverage.

The final, which is due to be played on Tuesday 17th April between Hendon FC and Staines Town FC, will be filmed by the Association’s cup final filming partners, Film My Match. Fans who can’t attend the match will then be able to view the game live via the Middlesex FA Facebook page.

Middlesex FA Chief Executive, Leigh O’Connor said:

'As an association one of our values is to ensure we are constantly thinking creatively and keeping up the latest innovations in the game. The Senior Cup final is the most prestigious competition in the County but sadly, many people can’t make it down to the ground to watch their favourite team or to just support local football. By streaming the game live to Facebook we‘re providing an alternative for these fans to watch the action unfold and support their team from wherever in the world they may be.'

Further details regarding the stream will be released closer the day of the game.
