Vacancy: Designated Safeguarding Officer

Middlesex FA is looking for a Designated Safeguarding Officer to join our team on a permanent basis.

Role: Designated Safeguarding Officer

Contract type: Permanent

Hours per week: 25 hours per week 

Salary scale: £26,500 pro-rota

Base: Middlesex FA Offices 

Middlesex FA is excited to offer an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Designated Safeguarding Officer. The role will report directly into the Head of Football Services and will focus on managing the County FA's safeguarding work, in line with legislation, FA Safeguarding Policy, Procedures and Regulations.

The role offers the right candidate the opportunity to form part of a growing team ahead of the Association's move to a new state-of-the-art facility in Northolt, Ealing. The post is available on a permanent 25 hours per week contract.

We are looking for someone who has knowledge of safeguarding children, experience of working as a designated person and has an ability to deal constructively with people's emotions. The successful candidate will also display good problem solving, teamwork and leadership skills and will be flexible on working hours.
