FREE disability football workshop for referees announced

Referees - are you aware of the different competitions you can referee in Middlesex?

Middlesex FA have been running a Disability League for nine seasons which encompasses females, males, young people and adult players with a physical, sensory, learning or behavioural disability/impairment. This affiliated small sided league is looking for more officials to support the league every month.

With this in mind, Middlesex FA are pleased to announce a FREE workshop for referees to gain an understanding of refereeing players with a disability/impairment either in disability or mainstream football.

London Disability Talent Pathway Lead Officer, Jon Whittingham, will deliver a two hour theory FREE workshop focusing on:

  • Overview of Disability Football
  • Refereeing Players with a Disability/Impairment
  • Disability Football Opportunities in Middlesex
  • Supporting the FA Disability Talent Pathway
  • How to get involved in Disability Football

The workshop will take place on Tuesday 21st February 2017, 7-9pm at Middlesex FA Headquarters, 39 Roxborough Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA1 1NS.
