FA Level 1 in Coaching Football

The first stepping-stone on The FA's core coaching pathway, this course introduces you to coaching football, working with players from U7 to open age and offers an insight into the English game - how it's played and how to support the development of future players.



The FA Level 3 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football will help you develop your players by designing practices that encourage decision-making, while meeting their technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social needs.

Our core venues for all courses include: Rectory Park, Springwest Academy, Matthew Arnold School, Bedfont Sports Club, Swift Road Sports Centre, Larkspur Rovers Youth FC, St Thomas More School, Middlesex University (Hendon Campus), and William Perkin School.

We do not currently operate waiting lists for any of our courses. Please keep an eye on our social media channels as any new spaces will be advertised via these channels in the first instance.

Yes, you can still take part but please let us know of any injuries before you start the course and give details of how you believe it will affect your participation on the course. This can be email to Paul.sharpe@middlesexfa.com.

We would recommend that you ensure you can attend all dates listed on the course specification before booking onto it.

If you suffer from a condition that you believe may affect your involvement on a course on either the practical or theoretical elements, please notify us immediately of any support you may require and we will make every effort to ensure that you are supported throughout the course of delivery and given every opportunity to successfully attain the relevant course award. All courses will be conducted in English and therefore candidates are required to be able to communicate effectively in English (this includes listening, speaking, reading and writing).

Candidates registering for this course who do not meet the English understanding criteria or have not declared a physical disability for which support may be required may be asked to leave the course without refund.
