Girls' Centre of Excellence

Middlesex County FA’s Girls' Centre of Excellence is in its sixth season. The 2013-14 season sees the Middlesex County FA operating one of only 31 Centres of Excellence nationally.

The Centre will accommodate 64 players aged 7-17 within the playing programme which challenges the skills and development of the players against other Centres within the South-West Regional League and in non-competetive matches against Centres from other Regional Leagues. The games are observed by England scouts with elite players progressing through to Regional and England training camps.

The Centre draws on the skills and experience of a variety of people: the coaching, medical, welfare and administrative staff.  Middlesex County FA’s Girls' Centre of Excellence is not only committed to the development of the players, but to the development of its staff, to ensure that they are given the best opportunity, in the right environment to have fun, learn and develop and achieve the best that they can be.

For the 2014-15 season, the centre will once again compete in the London & South East Regional League. With this in mind, we would like to invite players interested in attending trials for the 2014-15 squads to  download the trial pack.

Completed Application Forms should be returned to Sue Haynes.
