Middlesex FA Girls' Centre of Excellence is part of The FA Girls’ England Talent Pathway which was put in place to support the identification, development and progression of players with the potential to play for the England Women’s senior team. The Centre accommodates a maximum of 81 players aged 7-17 within the playing programme which challenges the skills and development of the players against other Centres within the London & South East Regional League. All age groups will also participate in non-competitive matches against Centres from other Regional Leagues with the Under 17s taking part in the FA National Cup competition. The games are observed by England scouts with elite players progressing through to Regional and England training camps.
The Centre draws on the skills and experience of a variety of people: the coaching, medical, welfare and administrative staff. Middlesex FA’s Girls' Centre of Excellence is not only committed to the development of the players, but to the development of its staff, to ensure that they are given the best opportunity, in the right environment to have fun, learn and develop and achieve the best that they can be.
