FA Disability Workforce Fund

The FA Disability Workforce Fund.

The FA Disability Workforce Fund (DWF) has seen the creation of a network of 29 disability-specific football development officers, each with a remit of retaining and growing participation levels.

Over the next three years (2016 to 2019), DWF will see team numbers reach over 2600; 1000 recreational turn-up-and-play centres will be created; and 145 disability football education courses will be delivered to over 2300 coaches.

In September 2016, Middlesex FA announced the appointment of a Disability Football Development Officer to work with both Middlesex and London FAs.

The Disability Football Development Officer will:

  • Support and develop all areas of disability football
  • Support the achievement of Middlesex and London FA targets
  • Develop and grow provisions of football for people with disabilities across both counties.
To find out more about the programme, or any other area of Disability Football, please contact our Disability Football Development Officer.
