March Accredited Club of the Month: Junior Bees
Middlesex FA is proud to announce that Junior Bees have been named as its England Football Accredited Club of the Month for March 2024.
Junior Bees FC are a Two Star England Football Accredited Club based in Isleworth, they currently have 8 teams with over 130 players ranging from Under 8s to Under 15s as well as a Disability Team, that competes in the Middlesex FA PAN Disability League.
Newly re-located on the grounds of Bolder Academy, Isleworth, Junior Bees were formed in 1982 and their aim is to improve and nurture children's football skills in a safe environment that's fun and encouraging.
At Junior Bees, they believe anyone can play football regardless of age, gender or disability. They engage with a number of FA programmes, including Comets, Squad & Wildcats and promote the importance of family orientated feel within the local community.
Junior Bees renewed their England Football Accreditation status in November 2023, retaining their Two Star status, Middlesex FA Coach Development Officer, Paul Sharpe said “Junior Bees commitment to England Football Accreditation has been excellent. They have created a strong Club Development Plan with clear objectives for the future whilst ensuring all coaches within the club adhere to the coaching criteria associated with an Accredited Club. The club are creating positive links with other clubs in the area to ensure they meet the Player Pathways for a Two Star Accredited Club”.
A parent from within the club spoke about how the club embraces the FA Respect Campaign and ensures that they showcase a Positive Environment: “The club are committed to being an inclusive to everyone involved, they ensure that all children respect each other and their opponents. Parents promote a positive message through encouragement on matchdays and the club use Respect barriers.”
