FA People's Cup

For the people

The FA People's Cup is a 5-a-side competition for the people.

The tournament, run in partnership with BBC Get Inspired, is completely free to enter and welcomes male, female and disability players across ten categories, which include:

  • U14 male
  • U14 female
  • U16 male
  • U16 female
  • Youth disability mixed
  • Adult male
  • Adult female
  • Adult male disability
  • Adult female disability
  • Male university (students only)
  • Female university (students only)
  • Male veterans (35+)
  • Female veterans (35+)
  • Walking Football (50+)

Players can register as part of an established team or as an individual to be allocated to a 'wild card' team, formed prior to the tournament starting.

Once the registration is complete the competition will take place over three rounds; Round One, Semi-finals and Final.
In 2017, over 40,000 teams entered the first round of the competition with 19 making it through to the finals in Birmingham.
