Facility Development

FROM THE TRAINING GROUND, TO THE PITCH, TO THE CLUBHOUSE...

...facilities are essential to enable the growth and development of football across all levels of football.

Working in partnership with the Football Foundation, local authorities and other partner organisations, Middlesex FA  aims to support and guide applicants through the process of developing a project.

If you are looking to improve your football facilities (which may involve 3G football turf pitches, changing room pavilions/clubhouses, grass pitch improvements or better indoor/outdoor facilities) please contact development@middlesexfa.com so that we can provide advice and guidance.

Please note if you have already started work on your project (for example, building/construction has already begun), then it is unlikely that your project will be eligible for funding.

AVAILABLE GRANTS

Small grants available for up to £25,000 (up to 75% of total project costs) for goalposts, portable floodlights, storage containers, fencing, pitch maintenance equipment, pitch drainage, improvement to playing surfaces and changing rooms/clubhouse refurbishments.

Grants for large-scale projects will require discussions around your project plan with Middlesex FA and the Football Foundation.  If your project is not listed within the Local Football Facility Plan for your area, further discussions may be needed with your Local Authority.

Some of these projects may need proof of the following: Minimum 10 years security of tenure, planning permission and/or to have completed a Grass Pitch Assessment Report. Contact development@middlesexfa.com to discuss your project plans.
