Stepping over the Sidelines is an introductory workshop for women and girls of all ages and backgrounds who would like to get into volunteering and coaching football.

The workshop aims to break down some of the barriers such as, “I have no playing or coaching experience” or “I don’t know the rules” and looks at skills & attributes that individuals may already hold which can be transferable to coaching football.

It is also hoped that the workshop will inspire females by highlighting other positive role models who are influencing change within the game as well as giving a flavour of the prospective next steps, including the EE Playmaker by England Football and the Introduction to Coaching Football courses. It is the perfect opportunity for clubs to engage their parents, players and increase their female volunteer base.

We're hosting a workshop at Rectory Park on Saturday 1 July 2023, 1:30-4pm!
