The awards are back and bigger than ever for 2022! We are looking to find out more about the great work that is going on within your Clubs & Leagues so that we can celebrate you.

There are 10 Award Categories, these span coaching, volunteering, officiating, Clubs, Leagues & more!

100 Day to Go - Inspire Her Journey Fund 

To celebrate 100 days to go on 28th March until the UEFA Women’s EURO kicks off at Old Trafford, we are delighted to announce our new funding opportunity; Inspire Her Journey Fund.

Clubs and organisations can apply for funding to help create a lasting legacy and to get more women playing football.

We are accepting applications for Clubs and organisations to access £900 to deliver the programme for girls aged 5-11.

Female Friendly Clubs Training

This interactive online workshop is aimed at anyone wanting to start or grow football opportunities for women and girls across Middlesex. So whether you’re part of a club, FA Girls’ School Football Partnership or any other organisation, the workshop will support you in developing your existing understanding of off-pitch and on-pitch considerations and discuss real life case study examples to enable you to build your own game plan for growth.

Ramadan and Football

This Ramadan make sure you are aware of how you can support any member of your club or match day experience who may be observing the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan. During this time members of the Muslim Faith will be fasting between dawn and dusk, to help you understand how best you can support them The FA have a Ramadan & Football Fact Sheet which will provide you with valuable information to achieve this.

Ramadan started on Friday 1st April and will end on Sunday 1st May 2022.

Funding available to support New Disability Football Sessions

We are happy to share we have funding available for schools, clubs, disability organisations to apply for funding to deliver disability and/or mental health football sessions.

PAN Disability League New Youth Division

We are welcoming individuals and teams aged 12 – 15 with a disability to join our new youth division at the PAN Disability League. Taking place the first Sunday of each month start Sunday 6th March, 11am – 1pm at Ruislip Goals.

Powerchair Football Expression of Interest

Middlesex FA in partnership with the Wheelchair Football Association (WFA) are looking to start a new exciting opportunity to play powerchair football in our county. Powerchair football welcomes both youth and open-age players from all genders who have a physical disability to take part in the game. Whether you have played before or a complete beginner, we welcome everyone to come try our upcoming taster sessions delivered by specialist WFA coaches.

New Frame Football Sessions in partnership with QPR and CP Sport

Frame Football is a unique version of football specifically designed for individuals who use a walking frame or crutches to move around and may have restricted mobility.  Sessions will take place monthly starting Friday 25th March, 5pm – 6pm at Jack Tizard School, S Africa, Road, London, W12 7PA and are free.

England Accreditation – Apply to Accredit!

We are delighted to confirm that we are now accepting applications from clubs who meet the criteria to apply to become an England Accredited Club.

Should you wish to apply, please visit your Club Portal where you can view your Club Dashboard and see if you meet the criteria to apply.  Here you will also find useful documents that you can adopt and submit as your own to support you with meeting the eligibility criteria.
