Octobers #CSCotM Announced

Find out who has won this months award!

Having returned last month seeing Bessingby Park Rangers named #CSCotM we have moved on to a new month and the time is right for us to announce the winner for October.

Congratulations to all involved at Hayes & Yeading United, it gives us great pleasure to announce the club as the winners of this award.

Having formed in 2007 when Hayes FC (1909) and Yeading FC (1960) merged to secure the two clubs’ status. This started in the Conference South were both clubs finished the 06/07 season 20th and 16th respectively.

Once merged they competed their first season in the Conference South during the 2007/08 campaign finishing 13th consolidating the merger and showing signs of improvement the following year saw them finish 4th and winning their way to promotion through the playoffs.

The club spent the next 3 years in the Conference Premier Division during this time they began working on the old home ground of Yeading FC, at the end of the 2010/11 season the club played their final game at Church Road the home of Hayes FC. They spent the following 6 seasons moving from ground to ground whilst the redevelopment of Yeading FC’s old ground continued.

During this time the club went from Step 1 and the National League down to Step 4 and the Isthmian League South Central Division. The club moved homes for a final time during the 2017/18 season as they made the newly named SkyEX Community Stadium their home after 6 years on the road. They followed this move with promotion back to Step 3 at the end of the 2018/19 season.

In 2015 the Club took the step to develop their youth section including them in the adult section’s affiliation for the first time since the merge. They are seeing success through this new move as their U18 Ladies team, along with the U15 and 15 boys won their respective leagues.

Since that time, they have taken the decision to work to offer the best possible environment for all their players and coaches by becoming Charter Standard. Whilst doing this they have bought into FA initiatives including SSE Wildcats, running a successful centre that they hope will lead to a thriving girl’s section.

On winning the award, Richard Bell, Head of Development Operations said, “We are very proud of the work we have done in receiving this award, it means a great deal to everyone at the club who work tirelessly in the background to crate the best environment of our young people, it validates our positive decision to become Charter Standard and provides us with the platform to continue our development and offerings.”

Don’t let work that goes on at your club go unrecognised, nominate your club today and you could be #CSCotM next!
