FA Girls' Football Week 2018 supported by Disney

FA Girls' Football Week returns

The FA Girls' Football Week is back this April. Find out what's happening in Middlesex and how you can get involved.

FA Girls’ Football Week is a national campaign to raise the profile of female football and support our aim to double the number of girls and women playing football by 2020. This year, Girls' Football Week will be supported by Disney.

A fun-filled week of activities designed to get as many girls involved in playing football, FA Girls' Football Week is designed for girls of all ages and abilities.Whether girls play regularly or are lacing their boots for the first time, it is a great opportunity for everyone to get active, meet new friends and have fun!

Over 60,000 girls took part in over 1,400 sessions delivered in schools, universities, colleges, clubs, community groups and other organisations across the country in 2017.

Organisations can register their on-going activities as part of the week, or maybe even start something brand new to kick-start girls’ football.

The week is a great opportunity to showcase female football at every level and inspire new players and volunteers.

Many of the activities delivered during the week are based on The FA’s online guides, which provide advice on ensuring all activities are fun and safe for everyone involved, maximizing enjoyment and minimising risk.

This year Girls’ Football Week will run between 23-29 April.
