Are you under 25? If so Middlesex FA has been running a successful Football Futures programme for the past three years providing young people opportunities to be recognised and rewarded for volunteering.
The programme has been re launched to give the younger volunteer more opportunities to develop while in the programme against any of the six Football Futures themes:
- Running & Developing the Game
- Promoting the game

Volunteering does not just mean coaching and refereeing, there are lots of opportunities available whatever your interest – be it media, sports science, advertising or event organisation. Middlesex FA also offers a number of opportunities outside of the Football Futures programme for an individual to engage in club coaching, casual football organisation or long term projects with the County FA and local grass roots clubs. Please see below further information regarding the current voluntary opportunities within Middlesex FA…
Disability FootballMiddlesex FA continues to work with a number of clubs and other organisations to provide playing opportunities for all across the county. Current opportunities across Middlesex include the Middlesex FA PAN Disability League, North West London Mental Health League and the Special Educational Needs Schools League. Each league is currently looking for volunteers to support with administration, event organisation and refereeing. Further opportunities are available to join the League Committee and occupy roles such as League Coordinator or Fixtures Secretary. Middlesex FA is dedicated to supporting volunteers with obtaining an FA Criminal Record Check as well as necessary training for their role. This may include attending a small sided referee workshop or course to become an official within the leagues and allowing you to earn whilst you learn.
