A video celebrating Charter Standard Clubs
The Charter Standard Scheme is a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for all clubs outside the Football League and Premier League. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.
It was established in 2001 and the majority of youth clubs have now achieved the Standard, which is also open to adult clubs.
There are many benefits to achieving the Charter Standard and this section will enable clubs and parents alike to understand how the Charter Standard can benefit everyone involved in the grassroots game.
