The FA funds 43 full-time officers to specifically develop opportunities for girls and there is a player pathway to steer talented girls from the beginnings of mini soccer at a young age right through to the Centres of Excellence and England teams.
Whether you’re a beginner at Primary School or hitting your teens and have never played before, or maybe you’re older and want to get back in the game. Perhaps coaching, officiating or administration is more your thing; without people in these roles the game could not operate. Whichever area you are interested in there is an opportunity for you.
Below are some of the programmes and initiatives we run in Middlesex:
• 3 Lions / School – Club link coaching courses.
• The FA Charter Standard Award
• Female only Coaching and Match Official courses
• Female Coach Mentoring Scheme
• Female Coaching Clinics
• Middlesex County Girls League
• Futsal
• Senior and Junior Women’s County Cups
• Girls (Youth) County Cups
