Charter Standard clubs lap up MCFA Futsal League

Beginning in early February the Middlesex County Football Association restarted its successful futsal league for U12 Boys and Adult Male players. Charter Standard clubs have been capitalizing on this fine opportunity.

Following on from successful competitions before Christmas the futsal leagues have begun again and will run through until May. With seven teams taking part in the U12’s league, all of whom have achieved the FA’s prestigious Charter Standard award, the competition has been fast and full of fantastic skill.

With the U12’s taking place each Tuesday evening (except for half-term and holidays) and the Men’s on Thursday’s the leagues are proving a resounding success with young and old alike. The small-sided game which inspired a host of incredible players including Ronaldinho and Ronaldo is tremendous for developing an individual player’s skill and ability. Played with a weighted ball, between lines with a four second restart rule the action is quick and incredible to view.

Taking place on the fine indoor facility at Northolt High Sports Centre with experienced match officials from futsal experts Active Planet, this is a great opportunity which has been seized on by the clubs involved.
