Middlesex FA - developing football for everyone
Development - take your skills to the next level

Forthcoming Events

Middlesex FA has a number of exciting opportunities for Schools, Colleges and Clubs during the forthcoming season with a variety of competitions taking place.

Schools (SEN & EBD Leagues)

Middlesex County FA will be running two 6-a-side football leagues for Special Schools in the region this year. One League is for Special Education Needs (SEN) pupils with the other for Emotional Behaviour Difficulties (EBD) pupils.

Both Leagues take place at excellent facilities - the SEN at Goals Soccer Centre in Ruislip (running weekly); the EBD at Powerleague in Barnet (running monthly).

It is expected that the leagues will expand in future to include further schools, as well as branching out regionally. The Leagues restart in September 2008.

Colleges Leagues (North & West)

The Middlesex County Football Association is proud to announce that it will be running its inaugural Colleges Leagues from October. This is a major step forward in developing further opportunities within a recognised pathway for players with a disability. We would like to invite you to enter teams into the league and also disseminate news of this exciting development.

Taking place in October and November (all 2008), January, February, March, April and May (all 2009), the competition will provide you with a regular fixture programme for academic year.

It will be a pre-requisite that all College teams, like their mainstream counterparts, will need to affiliate in order to be eligible to participate in the Colleges Leagues. This is to help us ensure that we have a recognised structure running throughout all our football in the County in line with the Football Associations player pathway.

PAN Disability County League

The Middlesex County FA is pleased to announce that it will be starting its first full season of the PAN Disability County League at Goals Soccer Centre in Ruislip. There will be leagues for male adult teams, youths (U16) and festival opportunities for female players.

Running on the first Sunday of October & November (2008), February, March, April & May (2009), adult men will have the opportunity to play in Premiership, Championship or Fun division games.

Youth players will also have the chance to come along and play on these Sundays in an U16 league with a four year age bracket.

Women will be invited to attend a Football Festival on the first Wednesday of October & November (2008), February, March, April & May (2009).

Games will be in a small-sided format and outside on the excellent artificial surfaces at Goals Soccer Centre.

It will be a pre-requisite that disability football clubs, like their mainstream counterparts, need to affiliate in order to be eligible to participate in the PAN Disability League. This is to help us ensure that we have a recognised structure running throughout all our football in the County in line with the Football Association's player pathway.

We would like to encourage and assist schools in joining this or other similar leagues, which we can set up, around the county.
