Colleges

Queens Park Rangers Football Club and the Community Trust are proud to announce that it will be running its inaugural Colleges League at the Linford Christie Stadium, Du Cane Road, London, W12 0DF. This is a major step forward in developing further opportunities within a recognised pathway for players with a disability. We would like to invite you to enter teams into the league and also disseminate news of this exciting development.

Taking place in, September 2009 through to May 2010, the competition will provide you with a regular fixture programme for the academic year. The league will take place outside, on the excellent artificial surface at the Linford Christie Stadium. Changing rooms, shower facilities will be open on each day. The cost of entry for teams to play will be £225.00 for the season, which will help ensure we can cover the costs of venue hire and administering the league.

If you have any queries about the Colleges League or its’ setup then please do not hesitate to contact Anthony Doherty via Anthonyd@qpr.co.uk

It will be a pre-requisite that all College teams, like their mainstream counterparts, will need to affiliate in order to be eligible to participate in the Colleges Leagues. This is to help us ensure that we have a recognised structure running throughout all our football in the County in line with the Football Associations player pathway.
