FA Learning Introductory Module - Age Appropriate Coaching

The FA Learning Introductory Module - Age Appropriate Coaching is a vocational course that provides you with an opportunity to develop an awareness of both the practical and theoretical aspects of coaching young players in the 5-11 age group.

The knowledge gained from this Introductory Module will enable you to develop an understanding of the role of the football coach in working with young children aged 5-11.

The FA Learning Introductory Module - Age Appropriate Coaching has been developed by FA Learning using expertise from a variety of FA staff and experienced coaches. The role of a football coach is a rewarding and responsible one. Players and clubs have high expectations of coaches’ conduct and behaviour that must be understood and supported by everybody. Appropriate behaviour is managed by the employing club, but should sit within the expectations provided during your course.

The next available courses currently scheduled to run are on Saturday 24th January 2009 and Saturday 21st February 2009 at Hillingdon House Farm. The course costs £25 and coaches can be enrolled through the Middlesex Learning department on 020 8515 1929 or paul.sharpe@middlesexfa.com
